Jennifer Leavey is the director of the Urban Honey Bee Project, an interdisciplinary education, research, and service program of the College of Sciences. The project works closely with partners at community gardens and urban farms to investigate the role of animal pollination on productivity of urban gardens and the effects of urban environments on bees. The program also provides pollination services to those gardens and provides beekeeper education.
