Engineering with a Purpose is a brand new, must-take course that empowers students to balance technical careers with social responsibility, become agents of change, and engage with dynamic community partners.  Course content includes: field experiences and community guests; exploration of past and current engineering mindsets; purpose and value of community engagement and social responsibility; tools to engage communities as collaborators; and, social justice and equity in problem-solving and solution identification.  

This is a 3-credit special problems course that GT undergraduates helped develop.  The course will serve as elective credit and has no pre-requisites.  It is open to all majors and years.  To register, use this link: https://t.ly/Q5JC8.
